> Professional Management and Consulting, Inc. (PMCI) was an idea that first took shape in 1994. After many years of working in a real-time computer manufacturing environment, having progressively more impacting responsibilities, it became a desire to provide professional consulting services to other businesses that could benefit from the skills and experiences achieved.
An early consulting engagement required the assessment, planning and re-engineering of existing procurement procedures for third-party data networking equipment. The challenge required a mindset for change in a "hard-baked" cross-functional environment and continued beyond the initial task of reengineering processes to include the responsibility for managing strategic alliance relationships and the marketing of third-party data networking equipment product lines whose revenue contribution was increased from $19M to over $59M in its first year.
